My name is Chlomo Hutcheson, and six months ago I started a business called Grain and Groove, with Ben Sims and Laura Dorothy, two talented makers I met during a nine-month course at the Chippendale School of Furniture. Together, we design and craft bespoke, art-inspired furniture rooted in folklore. Our pieces feature original artwork by my sister, Phoebe, an artist whose designs we interpret and inlay into the furniture. Blending craftsmanship, storytelling, and visual art into each piece we make.
