Ogilvies of Haddington designs and builds high quality, bespoke furniture, handmade kitchens, wine cellars and cafe/shop cabinetry using locally sourced timber and materials. Each commission is unique, drawing on the character of the building that will house it and incorporating design elements linked to the client's life and experiences. Local suppliers of sustainable timber and materials are used to minimise our environmental impact and ensure the provenance of our raw materials is known. We aim to build furniture that lasts a lifetime as an alternative to mass produced, disposable furniture that is transported large distances at significant environmental cost only to end up in landfill a few years later.
