I love to work with the colour and grain of wood to accentuate its natural beauty, whether that be slabs of Scottish elm or American walnut. Combining traditional skills such as gilding and carving with use of materials such as brass and steel further develops the tactile feel of my furniture. It’s also a pleasure to bring cherished items back to life if they’ve been suffering from a bit of neglect or a little too much loving!
